This just in: WMHT-TV (PBS) is partnering
with us to produce a companion DVD to TNTD about Albany's
Italian South End. And it gets better! Local PBS is
interested in a series of companion docs. about various
groups that once thrived in the ethnic center of the city.
FYI, it looks like the Irish South End is next on the
docket. If you can, please share this post. We will need
your help to locate more photos of the SE before the
"taking" in 1962. The history of Albany's South End --a
vanished world-- may be experiencing a revival. Way to go,
WMHT!!!!
