His work will be displayed during the month
of February and March. Vivid splashes of bright color and
bold strokes characterize paintings that depict floral,
feminine form and landscapes.
A self described colorist, Alagna use his concept of color
as a jumping off point to create a canvas with intense hues
and brilliant shades. His figures are swathed in color and
reflected light. Not limited to painting, his talent
also extends to photography and etching. (Saratoga County

An award- winning artist. Richard G. Alagna is a life member
of the Arts Students League of New York and a Resident
Artist of the Salmagundi Club of New York. His works are in
numerous private collections across the United States as
well as exhibited in galleries in Florida, Connecticut and
New York.
Most of the paintings on exhibit are for sale. Proceeds from
the sale will used to operate the museum. We thank Richard
G. Alagna for donating all the paintings to the museum that
are in this exhibit.
This exhibit may be seen from February 1st until March 30,
2014.
